  1. Dear Cherine,

It was a bad surprise when I heard from Cynthia that you were taken to hospital. I was this year again with some colleagues in a restaurant in Freiburg and we had a very nice evening.
For me it was a very big pleasure to receive directly from you the e-mail. Now I wish you all the best and also to come back at the normal work soon. Please Cherine keep me informed.
    Ciao!
    Mario

  2. Siew Huey sms this morning about your condition. I was very shock and actually take awhile to accept it. Cherine, I do not know what to say …. you are a warrior. All the while I am afraid to see doctor and even more fearful to go for any check-up as I am afraid doctor will tell me anything that I do not want to hear. Cherine, please do not eat KFC until you are fully recover. If possible switch to eat brown rice. You can also drink Oat or rice drink if you do not feels like eating. Call me if you are feeling better as I would like to visit you. In are in my prayer….. and wants to walk through this battle with you.

  3. Dear Cherine-san

    How are you?
We were very surprised and worry about you when we received your bad news from Mandy.
Ozawa-san is very worry about you and he passed me to give his best regards to you. I’m sorry but he is very very busy now, actually,he said he would like to go to S’pore soon.

By the way, Ozawa-san is my boss.
He is director of our sales office.
One of his pollicy is still S.P.E.E.D.Y, Do you remember?

We believe you can win your sick.
    Please take care of yourself.

I hope to go to S’pore also, however it is very difficult now.
I’m sorry but I hope to meet you when I visit S’pore.

    Best Regards

    Nakano

  4. Hi Nakano san and Ozawa san,

Thanks for your messages. Pls don’t bother to come and visit me. Once the side effects kick in, I will have sore throat, tireness and low immune level (can get infection easily). I will not be able to see you. Of course, I remember Ozawa san’s policy S.P.E.E.D.Y. and now I target for speedy recovery ;) . Like what Mandy said, I hope I can visit Japan with her to meet all our old friends after I have recovered.

    Thanks.

    Rgds,
    BionicJen

  6. Hello to my long lost friend.

Was it in 1996 that we first met.
Are you still familiar with all the roads in western Spore?
Does Liehbere (not sure of spelling) still sounds familiar?
Every month when we met, in that small meeting room, its always a fight for top numbers between you and me.
I still have nightmares occassionally, just by the thought that I lost to you most of the time.
The only time I won was when my Subaru Viki overtook your Daihatsu Charade on the road.
Then again, your car was still bigger than mine.. ha ha..

Read with sadness that you are going through bad patches now.
Glad to feel your high spirit.
Touch to know that your family, friends, colleague & ex-colleague are with you.

Stay strong, stay connected, stay positive, stay cheerful.

I will keep myself updated, via this blog.
When you are strong enough SOON, to be able to jump up and down again, remember to organise for a long-awaited-gathering.

BTW, why bionicjen?? I prefer wonder-woman-cherine..

  7. Hi Kelvin and Chew,

I miss our good old days especially our get-together lunch after the monthly sales meeting. I have been trying to arrange our long-awaited-gathering but you guys were so busy. I only managed to meet up with Johnny but not sure if he is still with Thomson now. A lot of uncertainties are in front of me so I don’t know when can I realize our gathering….

    Rgds,
    BionicJen

  9. Hi Cherine,

When I heard about your nose condition I was very shocked. Remember you sneezed very often at office beginning of the year. That time we suspected it was due to the air at office too dusty. And your nose might be sensitive to the new air fresher you bought for the office……

I know you are a very strong, optimistic and happy lady. I am very sure you will be fine. Keep walking!

  10. Dear Cherine,

I sincerely wish you a very Happy New Year ! and most of all that you win the battle.
    Keep strong.
Thank you as well for the update. You show high capacity to become a writer.
    Kind regards,
    Carole
